Dr. Laura Snider, DDS

Partner Dentist – Edgewood Dental, Baxter, MN

Dr. Laura Snider joined Edgewood Dental in 2018 and became a partner in 2022, bringing advanced clinical training and a warm, patient-centered approach to the Baxter community. Originally from Grand Forks, ND, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Biology from Concordia College in Moorhead, where she also studied Spanish. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2017.

After dental school, Dr. Snider completed a General Practice Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis—a Level 1 Trauma Center—where she provided comprehensive dental care for medically complex and special needs patients, as well as expanded her skills in oral surgery and facial trauma care.

Dr. Snider has a heart for service and has provided volunteer dental care to underserved populations in St. Paul, MN, and rural Panama with Mission Save a Smile. She continues to seek opportunities to give back and grow through continuing education.

She lives in the Brainerd Lakes Area with her husband, two children, and their mini Goldendoodle. When she’s not at the office, she enjoys spending time at her family’s cabin on Pelican Lake. Dr. Snider’s favorite part of dentistry is forming lasting relationships with her patients and helping them feel confident in their smiles.
